Warranty Period

Clear from the beginning.

Warranty timing is based on CITADEL product records and the product’s Production Date, creating a clear and verifiable service timeline.

20

Months Base Warranty

Every eligible CITADEL product receives a 20-month Base Warranty starting from its recorded Production Date.

8

Month Registration Window

Product registration is available during the first eight months following the Production Date.

28

Month Maximum Coverage

When registered within the eligible window, coverage runs for 20 months from Registration Date, subject to a maximum of 28 months from Production Date.

Registration is not required for Base Warranty coverage. Warranty eligibility is determined from CITADEL product records and Production Date, not from the purchase invoice date.

Technical Inspection

Evidence before assumptions.

When technical inspection is required, the product is evaluated using appropriate electronics test equipment and diagnostic procedures.

  • Product identity and warranty status verification
  • Electrical and functional testing where applicable
  • Inspection for physical, environmental or unauthorized modification damage
  • Documented technical assessment before service resolution

Frequently Asked Questions

Warranty, clearly explained.

Do I need an invoice?
No. Warranty eligibility and timing are determined from CITADEL product identity records and Production Date rather than the purchase invoice date.
Do I need product registration?
Registration is not required for the 20-month Base Warranty. Registration is optional and can extend the effective coverage period when completed within the first eight months from Production Date.
What happens after technical inspection?
CITADEL evaluates the inspection findings and warranty status, then determines the appropriate resolution. Depending on the case, this may include repair, replacement or another approved service solution.
How long does warranty service take?
Service time depends on the product condition, inspection requirements, logistics and availability of the appropriate resolution. CITADEL aims to complete each case as efficiently as possible while maintaining proper technical evaluation.
Can I claim warranty without registering the product?
Yes. An eligible product can receive warranty service during its Base Warranty period even if it has not been registered.
